There is no experience or previous qualifications required to enrol in this course! We welcome learners of all experience levels!

We have chosen to combine the Level 2 Gym Instructing certificate with the L3 Personal Training Diploma, which means you will be taught absolutely everything you need to know and do not require any previous knowledge or experience

A minimum course payment of 15% must be paid before we are able to register you on the course and book your unit 1 exam. Until this threshold is met, you will be unable to sit your unit 1 exam, although you are welcome to continue working your way through the course content.
 

Each unit will be assessed through a combination of methods based on the course content.  You can expect a combination of multiple-choice exams, written questions, video submissions, programme cards and worksheets. 

Unit 1 and Unit 2 of the L3 Personal Training Course are externally assessed by Innovate Awarding, who charge a resit fee of £29.99 if you fail on your first attempt. To ensure you feel prepared before your exams, we provide three mock exams per unit! 

All other units in this package assessed by the LEAP Academy team and we offer unlimited free resits on all of these assessments!

As part of the video submissions you will require access to gym equipment, this includes cardio machines, weight machines and free weights. 

Don't worry, we will walk you through each assessment as they arrive to ensure you are fully prepared.

The Small Business Finance and Social Media courses do not have assessments as they are designed as a supportive resource, and not a pass/fail course. We do include quizzes throughout to test your knowledge.

    

Upon successful completion of this course, you will be awarded the Level 3 Diploma for the Gym Instructing and Personal Training Practitioner (RQF). This course is accredited by Innovate Awarding.

Innovate Awarding is an Ofqual regulated awarding organisation with an innovative and dynamic approach. They develop off-the-shelf, customised, and fully bespoke qualifications across a growing number of sectors, all of which are on the Regulated Qualifications Framework (RQF).
 
In the UK an accredited L3 Personal Training qualification is a requirement to get any PT job in a gym, or to gain insurance if you are self-employed. This qualification is accredited by Innovate Awarding and endorsed by CIMSPA. This means you will be added to the CIMSPA register after you have qualified.

Before you purchase any personal training course you MUST ensure the course is CIMSPA endorsed, or you might struggle to secure employment in a gym.

Note: You will not be issued a Level 2 certificate with this qualification, only a Level 3 Diploma.

This course provides an excellent starting point for anyone who wants to pursue a career in personal training and set up their own online business. You will gain the skills and knowledge to engage, facilitate, educate and support clients in the gym environment, and in an online setting. 

You can also take the knowledge you gained from this course into further study with one of our related courses and qualifications, enabling you to train clients in a wider capacity. A great starting point here would be the L4 Advanced Sports Nutrition qualification, which will allow you to write personal nutrition plans for clients.
